«Memory at your Fingertips »
Discover the story of 10 objects from the Museum collection, how they came to us and what happened to their owners.
10 objects which speak to the history of the Holocaust, Jewish life before the genocide, and the resilience of survivors.
Everyday objects, religious objects, objects which carry hope, became part of the collection to tell the story of those who did not survive and thus honour their memory.
Touch and be touched by history with the Museum's volunteer guides during a visit specially staged for the occasion by Richard Francis, a graduate of the National Theatre School of Canada.
This event is organized in partnership with the National Theatre School of Canada.
January 27 - the anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz - was proclaimed International Day in memory of Holocaust victims in 2005 by the United Nations.
